Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving! We were in Palm Springs on Thursday and Friday and Agoura Hills on Saturday and Sunday. It was Jack's first day off since we have been here so it was great to have a long weekend! Here is a picture of the amazing turkey my Mom made!

Evelyn loves Jack! It was so cute . . If Jack left the room she would ask me where he went. She noticed when he would leave before I would!


So this year Jack talked us into going Black Friday shopping. No we do not go for anything specific. We just go to get in the spirit of Christmas. Don't know how we got these three to go along with us. We ended up going to the outlets at midnight and Target at 4AM . . So we pulled an all nighter and ended up only sleeping for about 3 hours the next day. It was fun though, we definitely made memories! Yes, I know I married Santa Clause =)

Then we celebrated Matt's birthday. Happy Birthday Matty!


On Saturday I had a fun craft day with the girls (forgot to take pictures). We had fun hanging out and shopping. After that we went to sushi for dinner. The chicken was so good! =) After dinner we saw Harry Potter! It was Carolines first movie!

Overall, we had a great weekend! Now we are excited about Christmas!! Can't wait!

Mark's Blessing

A few weeks ago Mark was blessed at church. It was such a great day and so fun to be with the whole family!





We are missing Tim! He will be home soon though!

Laker Game!

Jack and I went to the Laker game a few weeks ago. We had a blast together! So our seats were the second to last row at the Staple Center and anyone who knows Jack knows we were not going to sit there for long. We watched the game as close as we could. Even though we had to stand it was so worth it! We watched the game up close the 1st and 4th quarters and in our seats during the middle.

Go Lakers! We won!! Way too close but we did it!


Overall, we had a great night together! Thanks for another fun date!

G&G Carneal

This weekend Grandpa and Grandma Carneal came to visit us. We have been planning on them coming for a while and we were so excited for them to be here.

We had a great dinner at CPK on Friday night. Each of us got a different kind of pizza and shared so that we were able to get a little bit of everything. Yum!!


On Saturday we went to their old house that they they lived in 40 plus years ago with Mom and our Uncles. It was fun to visit it with them and hear stories about it.


We loved their new car! It is so nice! It was fun driving in it all weekend.


On Saturday night we went to Outback. G&G have never tried the bloomin' onion so we had to go. It was amazing!


We had a blast this weekend. It was so fun hearing all of their stories. Thanks G&G for coming to visit us! It means a lot to us and we had so much fun, Love you!!

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to this pumpkin patch by our house after Jack got off of work. Despite being in someone's backyard, it was actually pretty nice!

For Halloween this year we relaxed at home and passed out candy to the trick-or-treaters. It was fun looking at all of the cute costumes.

Weekend in Palm Springs

Last weekend we went to Palm Springs to spend time with my Mom for her birthday. We watched some volleyball, hung out with Mark, and had a b-day party!

On Sunday we were able to go to the Palm Springs Ward, which we have not been to in a while. It was nice because my Mom taught the Relief Society lesson and sang a solo. She did amazing! I was so glad to be there. Will also gave a talk in primary about being a missionary. I think he looked the part.

Conference Weekend

For General Conference we went to Agoura and spent the weekend with the family. We had so much fun!

Kern County Fair

A few weeks ago we went to the Kern County Fair. We had a ton of fun and ate some great fair food!

It was about 95 degrees so we could not resist this cherry and lime icee.

I got to see a real Florida alligator for the first time!


Check this out! They were all around at the fair "Sheriff Gang Unit." We are not in La Grande anymore!


We watched a BMX bike show. They were pretty good!
